The trial for a Nunavut man charged with killing three people and wounding two others has been postponed until next spring.
Chris Bishop is facing three counts of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder in relation to an incident in Cambridge Bay in 2007.
Bishop was found guilty on all counts by a jury in 2010 but that verdict was thrown out last year by the Nunavut Court of Appeal and a new trial was ordered. His new trial was scheduled to begin next month.
On Monday, the Crown asked for an adjournment because a key Crown witness is pregnant and due to deliver in early fall.
The new judge-alone trial will begin on April 13, 2015 in Iqaluit. It's scheduled to last two weeks.
