RCMP and coroner's office investigating
A seven-year-old boy has died after drowning in Yellowknife's Long Lake Thursday afternoon.

Police said when they arrived at the scene, a citizen was performing CPR on the child. The boy was taken to Stanton Territorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The RCMP and the Office of the Chief Coroner of the N.W.T. are investigating.
