CBC North Yukon reporter Nancy Thomson’s story on foreign workers was a finalist in the Open Radio Current Affairs category. Her story uncovered an unfair labour situation some Filipino workers faced in Whitehorse. Her story prompted a territorial government investigation.

The awards, which were handed out in Ottawa Saturday night, honour the country’s best in investigative journalism.
