Cause of Dawson City fatal fire remains undetermined
2 possible sources of ignition, says fire marshal
The cause of a fatal fire in Dawson City two weeks ago cannot be determined, according to officials.
The Yukon Fire Marshal, RCMP and the Yukon Coroner's Office have concluded their investigation into the blaze.
The Fire Marshal indicates two potential sources of ignition: an oil lamp being used at the time of the fire, and woodstove ashes placed in a plastic tote box outside the trailer.
Firefighters found the body of 67-year-old Arthur Taylor inside the trailer after the fire.
