B.C. man charged in Wrigley, N.W.T., with drug trafficking
A B.C. man has been charged with drug trafficking after RCMP seized marijuana during a traffic stop in Wrigley, N.W.T., last Thursday.
RCMP officers with the Wrigley satellite office based in Fort Simpson seized about 2.3 kilograms of marijuana and a "significant" amount of cash.
A 46-year-old man from B.C. was charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime. He is scheduled to make a second appearance in court on May 28 in Fort Simpson.
