The North will be featured front and centre on a national television show Monday night on The Amazing Race Canada.

In May, the show came to Yellowknife as part of it's inaugral season.

While contestants were only in town for a few hours, they were spotted at the airport, on Pilot's Monument and out on the ice of Great Slave Lake.  As Hal Johnson, Body Break fitness icon, explains in his interview with the CBC's Sandi Coleman Monday morning, contestants start the episode in Yellowknife, and then fly off to Whitehorse.
