The candidates are Olinto Beaulieu, Ernest Cazon, Minnie Letcher, Eric Menicoche, Michael Modeste, Bertha Norwegian, and Arnold Hope.

Elections Officer Tammy Cazon said advance polls are for those who are not able to vote on election day, April 10. Band members who live in another community can’t vote unless they travel to Fort Simpson.

"As long as you are in Fort Simpson and you are on the voters’ list, you can vote," said Cazon.

She said the band is considering revising the election code so people could mail in their vote.
