Derrick Gibbons, 18, remains in critical but stable condition in Vancouver General Hospital following a car accident in Whitehorse last weekend.

Gibbons was one of four passengers in a Honda Accord that collided with a semi-truck on the Alaska Highway at Robert Service Way last Saturday.

Passengers, Clare Cherepak, 15, and Brendan Kinney, 20, were killed in the early morning incident.

The 15-year-old driver was the only person in the vehicle not critically injured. The driver of the semi was also unhurt.

A memorial service was held for Clare Cherepak on Thursday. A service for Brendan Kinney is scheduled for Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre.
