2 charged after cocaine found in Yellowknife apartment
RCMP say they found 35 packages of cocaine and items related to selling drugs
Two people in Yellowknife face charges of possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
RCMP, along with a sniffer dog, made the drug bust Wednesday at the Norseman Apartment building on 52nd Avenue.
A 21-year-old woman was arrested at the apartment. A 32-year-old man later turned himself in to the detachment.
RCMP say they found 35 packages of cocaine, prepared for individual use. They also found a significant amount of cash as well as other items related to packaging and selling drugs.
The man and woman will appear in court on July 9. Their names have not been released.
