Two young hunters from Arviat, Nunavut have been rescued after they were overdue returning from a beluga hunting trip.
The two didn't make it back home on Tuesday night because the outboard motor on their hunting boat failed.
"They were having motor problems, [it] might have been from cold weather or from the salt water so the motor would stall," the boys' grandmother, Rhoda Karetak told CBC News in Inuktitut. "One of them made a sail from a tarp and reached the land called Issatik"
When they got there, they stayed in a cabin overnight, where they were found by searchers.
