Woman arrested for drunk driving after tip from liquor store employees in St. John's
Impaired driving and refusing the breathalyzer charges laid
A woman was charged with drunk driving in St. John's Friday afternoon after police were tipped off by liquor store employees.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said the 51-year-old tried to be served at a liquor store in the west end of the city.
However, police said the staff believed the woman was impaired and saw her leave the store driving a vehicle.
She was located a short time later and was charged with impaired driving and refusing the breathalyzer.
The woman was released to appear in court at a later date.
