A significant winter storm hitting Eastern Canada and stretching from southern Ontario to the Maritimes is having an impact at the airport in St. John's

Some flights have been delayed or cancelled at Toronto Pearson International Airport, as well as airports in Ottawa and Montreal.

Even though the storm has yet to hit St. John's, the ripple affect is impacting flights in and out of St. John's International Airport.

The storm was expected to dump 15-20 centimetres of snow in eastern Ontario, with up to 45 centimetres falling on southern portions of Quebec.
