Whales put on a show in Portugal Cove-St. Philips

A few dozen people braved a chilly Sunday afternoon to watch at least three whales showing off near the shoreline in Portugal Cove-St. Philips.

Not far from the Bell Island ferry terminal, the whales breached the water a few times for the excited onlookers.
