Police in St. John's are looking for a young man following a mugging that sent a man to hospital for treatment.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said a man was robbed around 5 p.m. while he was standing outside his vehicle in the central part of the city.
Police would not disclose the area where the mugging took place.
The RNC said the victim was stabbed with a knife. He was taken to the Health Sciences Centre, and was later released.
The man's wallet was stolen during the robbery.
"The suspect involved is a male in his late twenties," the RNC said in a statement.
