Thieves have made it a little harder to find the Burin Peninsula Waste Management site.

RCMP said four large aluminum signs outside the facility were stolen at some point over the weekend.

Replacing the signs will cost the waste management corporation about $5,000.

The waste site is located along the Grand Bank regional highway in Molliers.

Police are hoping someone with information about the theft will contact the force directly or go through the anonymous Crime Stoppers service.
