Three men facing drunk-driving charges on northeast Avalon
Police on the northeast Avalon arrested three suspected drunk drivers Wednesday.
A 57-year-old man was charged Wednesday afternoon on Cookstown Road in St. John's.
Several hours later, a 33-year-old man was arrested in the same area and charged with impaired and refusing a breathalyzer test. He's also accused of breaching several conditions from another sentence, and was held for a court appearance.
In a separate incident, just after 10 p.m. Wednesday, police were called to a disturbance on the Foxtrap Access Road.
The RNC stopped a vehicle that was leaving the scene and charged a 39-year-old male driver with being impaired.
