Saturday, 7;30 p.m. Live launch for a new album of duets from Nick Ryan featuring Naomi Kavka, Prose & Cons. The LSPU Hall.

Saturday, 8 p.m. The Telegram’s Warm Hearts event featuring songs and stories from Sean McCann, Lynda Boyd, Chris Andrews of Shanneyganock, and others at Holy Heart Theatre. Tickets are $25 with all proceeds will go to the Warm Hearts campaign, supporting women and children who are victims of domestic abuse and staying at Iris Kirby House in St. John’s. 

Sunday, 3 p.m. poetry reading with west coast poet Robin Durnford reading from her book A Lovely Gutting. Afterwords Book Store, 245 Duckworth Street.

Sunday and Monday, 8 p.m. Comedian Matt Wright is doing a live taping of his comedy album Vasectomy Baby. Tickets available at the door or at Fred’s Records on Duckworth Street. Sunday night is hosted by Steve Coombs and also features Shaun Burton and Mike Fardy. Monday night is hosted by Colin Hollett and also features Sarah Walsh and Michael Lynch.
