The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary tried to stop a young driver on Convent Lane on Sunday afternoon, but the youth would not stop.

Police said they located the ATV a little later and arrested a 14-year-old boy.

The teen was turned over to his parents, although he now faces charges of resisting arrest and driving without insurance.

The ATV was impounded.
