Suspended St. John's driver in trouble again with police

A 53-year-old man who was suspended from driving is facing numerous charges.
RNC say a 53-year-old man struck his vehicle into the side of a building on Saturday morning.

A man who was suspended from driving is in trouble again with the law.

Around 10:30 on Saturday morning, Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officers arrived at a business in the Ropewalk Lane area of St. John's, where they found the man had struck the side of the building with his vehicle.

He's been charged with impaired driving by drugs, driving while prohibited, and breaches of court orders.

The man, 53, was also charged with operating a vehicle without insurance, expired registration, driving with a suspended license, and numerous other infractions. He also had $11,000 in outstanding fines.

The man was held for court and the vehicle was impounded by police.
