Natuashish boy attacked by dog

A nine-year-old boy is still recovering after being injured by a dog in northern Labrador on Monday.
RCMP in Natuashish say the animal attacked the child, causing injuries to his face.
The boy was airlifted out of the community for treatment. Police said the dog was put down and is now being tested for rabies.
The RCMP say roaming dogs are common in the community — but they rarely attack anyone.
