Man drives drunk to police station to pick up friend

Police in Labrador said Friday they had arrested a 32-year-old man for drunk driving just outside a detachment.
The man, from Sheshatshiu, drove to the police station just after midnight Tuesday to pick up a friend who had been arrested earlier for alcohol-related crimes.
The driver had twice the legal limit of alcohol in his system, the force said.
He is set to appear in provincial court at a later date.
