Trafficking charge laid against teen

Police have charged a young man with a drug offence after seizing marijuana near the Bonavista Peninsula community of Melrose.
RCMP said about 475 grams of marijuana were found when officers stopped a vehicle on Tuesday night outside the town.
The suspect, 18, was released from custody.
He is due to appear in provincial court in Clarenville on March 21 on a charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
