RCMP officer in Labrador arrested for child luring

A member of the RCMP in Labrador District has been arrested for child luring over the internet.
The police officer was arrested on Friday and made his first appearance in court on Saturday. He was remanded for a bail hearing on Monday in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is taking the lead in the investigation.
Police will not provide any further information due to a court-imposed publication ban.
