A Metrobus slid out of control and crashed in the downtown area of St. John's on Saturday morning.
With snow falling and roads becoming slippery, driving conditions were not ideal.
A Metrobus slid through a fence in the downtown area of St. John's on Saturday due to slippery roads. The driver sustained minor injuries. (CBC)The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said the bus slid into a building at the intersection of Cochrane Street and Water Street.
Police said there were two passengers on the bus at the time of the accident, but no injuries were sustained.
However, the driver was taken to hospital to be treated for minor head injuries.
The bus was the only vehicle involved in the accident.
