The marina in Lewisporte will be increasing security after a recent rash of vandalism.
RCMP arrested two teenagers after seven boats were broken into and trashed.
Sid Small, chair of the Lewisporte Marina Authority, also said items such as flares and electronics were stolen.
He said it's not good for the reputation of the facility.
"It's a real black mark for the marina, and it's a black mark for the community," Small said.
"We've got boats at that marina owned by people as far away as Calgary and as far east as Switzerland, would you believe."
Small said a security guard will be hired to keep an eye on the marina.
There will also be a new and improved surveillance camera system installed.
