The St. John's IceCaps got two goals from Eric O'Dell, including the game winner, and came away with a 4-2 win over AHL Eastern Conference leaders Binghamton on Friday night.
The win over the Senators was a big one for St. John's as it moved them within three points of a playoff spot..
Now, the question is whether they can follow that win up with a rare weekend sweep at home.
The two teams will square off again Saturday night at Mile One Centre at 7:30 p.m.
