Cougar helicopter returned to base Saturday

A Cougar helicopter that was on its way to the Terra Nova FPSO vessel returned to base on Saturday as a precautionary measure after an indicator light pertaining to the auto pilot system came on.
The flight arrived safely back at the base at approximately 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
A spokesperson for Cougar said there were eight passengers and two crew members aboard the helicopter.
No safety of flight issue was present at any time and troubleshooting was completed.
