Police have arrested four people following an armed home invasion in Stephenville on Friday night.
The incident occurred at a residence on St. Claire Avenue at approximately 8 p.m.
RCMP said three suspects with their faces concealed entered the home, armed with knives and a machete.
The invaders assaulted the occupant, and then stole cash, marijuana, and prescription pills before fleeing the scene in a getaway vehicle with a female driver.
Police apprehended the group later that evening at a traffic stop in the area.
They are scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 21.
