A teenager has been arrested in connection with a break-in at a convenience store in the central part of St. John's.

The incident happened at the Orange Store on Pennywell Road.

Police got a call from a neighbour, who reported someone was trying to break into the store just after midnight on Monday morning.

RNC officers responded with a police dog and soon arrested a young man.

The 17-year-old has been scheduled for a court appearance today.
