Botwood pair face drug charges

Two people in Botwood face criminal charges after the RCMP searched a residence in the town Saturday morning.
Police found a quantity of marijuana and prescription pills which they believe to be morphine.
As a result, two occupants of the residence, a man, 32 and a woman, 19 were arrested and charged with possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
They were later released and are slated to appear in provincial court in February.
