Police in central Newfoundland have released the name of a man who died in an ATV accident Tuesday near Lewisporte.
Stewart Stuckey, 78, of Notre Dame Junction was pinned under his machine after it hit a rock.
RCMP said Stuckey was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
Police said he suffered a fatal blow to the head when the ATV landed on top of him.
Stuckey had been out in the woods checking rabbit snares.
