Someone shipped packets of marijuana in a box to Nain by mail. RCMP

A Nain man is in custody after Labrador police found drugs and cash that had been sent to the town by mail.

RCMP said the suspect, 46, was arrested when he picked up the package on Thursday afternoon.

Police said the package contained about 380 grams of marijuana and $145 in cash.

RCMP put the street value of the drugs in Nain at about $11,000.

The suspect, who faces charges of trafficking and possessing property obtained by crime, is expected to appear in court on Friday.
