Alcohol investigated in fatal Piccadilly crash

RCMP are investigating whether alcohol played a part in a fatal crash on Newfoundland's Port au Port Peninsula.
Police said a dirt bike went off a bank along the main road in Piccadilly.
The incident happened after midnight, in the early hours of Thursday morning.
RCMP said Friday that the rider, 29, who lived in the area, had been wearing a helmet.
He was taken to hospital in Stephenville where he died of his injuries. An autopsy was planned for Friday.
