Drunk driver suspected in St. John's collision

A 28-year-old man is being charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm after a collision Thursday night on a busy St. John's street.
The collision happened on Kenmount Road at Ladysmith Drive shortly before 10:30 p.m.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has not commented on how many people were injured, but the force said no one's life was at stake.
There was extensive damage to the vehicle.
The suspect was ordered to appear in provincial court at a later date, police said.
