Crews resumed a search Monday for a Bay of Islands man whose boat was found on a beach near Gros Morne National Park last week.
Richard Crocker, 45, left Summerside on Wednesday afternoon in his eight-metre cabin cruiser, but did not arrive as scheduled in Trout River.
A search was launched Thursday, and on Friday his boat was found on a beach near Sally's Cove.
Authorities have since described the search for Crocker as a missing person's case.
High winds have proven troublesome in the search, with police and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans often unable to work in safe conditions.
Conditions improved Monday, and crews have been focusing on an area of coastline south of Sally's Cove.
