The Paradise town council wants developers to provide bathroom facilities to the people who are building new homes in the area.

Deputy Mayor Allan English says in some new subdivisions, workers are going into the woods to urinate — or do something else.

"People were going and doing No. 2, so to speak, and that really upset the people in the area, because the children play in the woods," English said.

"Sometimes people are disturbed by development in their immediate vicinity and this just makes the situation a lot worse."

English said the town will be speaking directly to developers to ensure workers have port-a-potties or access to a home with a bathroom.
