According to Newfoundland and Labrador’s information and privacy commissioner’s office, Right to Know Week is aimed at raising awareness about people’s right to access government information, while promoting freedom of information as essential to both democracy and good governance.
Right to Know Week wrapped up on Friday, with Right to Know Day.
In the spirit of Right to Know Week, here are 12 numbers of interest related to accessing government information in this province. (See below for footnotes and source material.)
