Axe wielded in Airport Heights dispute

Police in St. John's took a man into custody on Monday night on a charge of assault with a weapon — with an axe cited as the weapon.
No one was injured in the incident in the city's Airport Heights neighbourhood, but the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said there were still grounds to charge the man.
The suspect, 37, was held in the lockup overnight for a court appearance on Tuesday.
