Cougar helicopter forced to turn around

A Cougar helicopter was forced to return from the offshore to St. John's shortly after departure on Monday.
The chopper left the airport shortly after 7 a.m., but 15 minutes into the flight there was a problem with the aircraft's anti-vibration control system, according to the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board.
After turning around, the helicopter landed safely at 7:40 a.m.
The helicopter was carrying two crew and four passengers who were on their way to the diving support vessel Seven Eagle.
The CNLOPB said it was notified of the incident by Suncor Energy.
