Brick used in Natuashish street brawl

A woman in the northern Labrador community of Natuashish has been charged with assault, after a man in the community was almost knocked unconscious in a street fight.
This chunk of brick was used to put a man in hospital after a fight in Natuashish, police claim. (RCMP)RCMP say the woman, 31, is believed to have used "a large piece of brick" to strike a man.
Police said they arrived at a street in the community on Sunday to find the man lying in a pool of blood.
He was treated at the community clinic and then flown to Happy Valley-Goose Bay for treatment for head and facial fractures.
"The arresting officer received a punch in the face from the suspect," RCMP said in a statement.
The woman was held in custody for a bail hearing on Monday.
