Moose killed instantly in TCH collision

Three men were rushed to hospital early Tuesday after their vehicle smashed into a moose outside St. John's.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said the crash happened around 1:45 a.m. at the Conception Bay South interchange on the Trans-Canada Highway.
The moose was killed instantly, police said.
"The vehicle was demolished," the RNC said in a statement.
The injured men were expected to recover.
