Man arrested for holdup of pizza delivery driver

Police have made an arrest in connection with the robbery of a St. John's pizza delivery driver.
The holdup occurred outside No Name Pizza on Ropewalk Lane around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The suspect was armed with a knife and wearing a ski mask when he demanded money from the driver.
The thief got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Late Friday, police said they arrested a 26-year-old St. John's man and charged him with armed robbery and wearing a disguise with intent to commit robbery.
He was jailed pending a court appearance Saturday morning.
