A Delta Airlines flight made an emergency landing in Stephenville on Friday evening.
The plane was en route to Istanbul from New York City, when the pilots ran into problems with the plane's electrical system.
A spokesperson for the airline said pilots decided to ground the flight and switch planes.
Passengers were housed in the Stephenville International Airport for the night.
Delta Airlines said the replacement plane arrived this morning and the flight was able to continue to Istanbul.
