Cape Breton Regional Police say an elderly Newfoundland man arrived in North Sydney on a ferry from Port aux Basques on Saturday, and hasn't been seen since.

William Francis King, 82, suffers from dementia.

He is described as aboriginal, standing about six feet tall and weighing about 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

King has a tattoo on his left wrist of unknown design. He has no teeth or dentures.

When last seen, he was wearing a yellow shirt and black pants.

Police are asking anyone with information about King's whereabouts to call them at 902-563-5151, or contact Crime Stoppers.
