Four people were taken to the hospital in Newfoundland and Labrador after their car collided with a moose Saturday night.
The four people, including two small children, suffered minor injuries in the collision near Whitbourne.
Whitbourne Fire Chief Jamie Budden said the car was severely damaged and the people were very lucky.
The windshield was smashed, the roof caved in and the back window was broken out.
He said the moose ran into the woods but based on the damage to the car, he believes it is seriously injured.
