Mile One Centre has pulled the plug on an August concert featuring superstar rapper T-Pain because too few tickets have sold.

Summer Blast 2012 had been set for Aug. 24, with backup acts Far East Movement, Anjulie and Dru rounding out the bill.

In a statement Tuesday, Mile One said while customers have been able to buy tickets for three weeks, Summer Blast "has been cancelled due to disappointing ticket sales."

Not all of Mile One's schedule has had difficulties. Summer Blast had been organized for the same week that country singer Keith Urban will be singing at two sold-out performances.

Those who bought their tickets with a credit card will get automatic refunds.

For those who bought tickets with cash or a debit card can get a refund from the Mile One box office starting on Saturday, and for the subsequent month.
