Protesting Quebec Innu have taken down their blockade of the New Millennium iron mine in Shefferville.
The protesters blocked access to the mine for eight days.
The Innu claimed the mine operation violated their traditional hunting rights.
Officials from New Millennium met with protesters on July 4, and the blockade was removed earlier today.
