Person rescued near cliff in Grand Falls-Windsor

An injured person has been transported to hospital in Grand Falls-Windsor after being airlifted from the bottom of a cliff near behind the former Abitibi paper mill.
A Cougar helicopter and Exploits Search and Rescue picked up the victim near the Exploits River at about 5:30 p.m.
There is no word yet on the condition of the person.
