Serious injuries in motorcycle accident, police say

A 42-year-old man is in hospital with serious injuries following a motorcycle accident early Saturday morning near St. John's, according to police.
The RNC said shortly after 1:30 the man's motorcycle left the road in the area of Beachy Cove, St. Philips.
Alcohol is being considered a possible factor.
The RNC said the man's injuries are considered serious, but not life-threatening.
