A section of the Outer Ring Road has reopened after a multi-vehicle pileup that sent three people to hospital Thursday afternoon.

One person is believed to be seriously injured. The others have minor injuries.

The crash happened close to 3 p.m. in the eastbound lane near the Team Gushue Highway turnoff.

Police say weather and road conditions were factors in the crash. They are advising drivers to slow down because of the weather.
